The emphatic win over Newcastle serves as a much-needed boost for City, despite the absence of Erling Haaland, who missed the match due to a minor injury. Their new signing from Eintracht Frankfurt, Omar Marmoush, was the star of the match, netting a first-half hat-trick. The Egyptian forward, nicknamed “The Pharaoh,” was simply unstoppable throughout the game.
Manchester City currently sits fourth in the Premier League table, trailing league leaders Liverpool by 16 points.
